British Columbia Outcome Chart: Personal Planning Grade 6

This outcome chart contains media-related learning outcomes from the BC Grade 6 Personal Planning curriculum, with links to supporting resources on the Media Awareness Network site.

Mental Well-being

It is expected that students will:

  • describe their individuality and cultural identity within a social group

  • articulate a realistic self-concept that takes into account personal attributes

  • demonstrate acceptance and responsibility for their choices as they develop personal autonomy

  • demonstrate a commitment to participate in the development of a healthy school and community
