MNet Review

The Movie Movie is part of the Visually Speaking series, designed for children from Kindergarten to Grade Three. This production offers a behind-the-scenes look at how cinematography, editing, make-up and sound are used in the making of films and videos to evoke emotional responses in the viewer. An explanatory song helps to underscore how a simple, family-plot scene can create very different feelings in the viewer, depending on how certain critical elements are manipulated.

The Movie Movie can be ordered online from the National Film Board.
